Senior Project Manager and Systems Engineer with over thirty years as an active contributor to design, fabrication, and testing of devices and systems for industrial, scientific, medical, and dental applications. Extensive experience managing multi-disciplinary product development projects and system engineering encompassing optics, optical fibers, electro-optics, laser, RF, energy conversion, and software technologies.

   
 

Senior Scientific Researcher and Manager accomplished at directing and administering applied research and development in a wide variety of quantum electronic and related disciplines with particular emphasis on theory and applications of spectroscopy and exotic laser systems

   
 

Optical Engineer with demonstrated problem solving capabilities spanning 21 years in the design, manufacture, assembly, alignment and test of optical components and systems; a broad background in lens design and optical analysis; proficient with Code V and Zemax lens design and analysis software. Laser/Electro-optical Engineer with more than 20 years experience in optical, diffractive optical, laser, software, and video systems design for industrial, scientific, and medical applications.  Contributes directly to all aspects of product development from initial concept through design and validation.  Programming languages include C, Fortran, Forth, Assembly, Orcad, Zemax, and Matlab.

   
 

Senior Mechanical Engineer with comprehensive experience implementing and packaging optical, fiber optic, electronic, RF, robotic, and laser systems; familiar with manufacturing methods for low and high volume production; integrates 2D and 3D CAD design tools with both industrial design and manufacturing processes.

   
 

Optical/Electro-optical Engineer with more than 13 years in support of DOD R& D as well as commercial system development. Applications include free space laser communication with heavy involvement in the telecom industry, laser based remote sensing, atmospheric adaptive optics, helmet mounted displays, IR radar,and x-ray imaging. Extensive knowledge of Zemax and Code V opticalCAD/CAE programs.

   
 

Mechanical Designer with 26 years experience designing and documenting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for electronics, aircraft, marine, automotive, and defense systems.  Projects include automated assembly robots, electronics test stations and flight simulators. Designed and received FAA Multi-Supplemental Type Certificates for two products used with Cessna airplanes. An expert in AutoCAD design and technical illustrations, with over 30,000 hours using AutoCAD software.
